Why Is My Domain Missing From My Account

If your domain name is not showing in your account, this guide will help you identify the possible causes and how to resolve them. This article covers why a domain may appear missing and what you can do to locate or restore it.

Symptoms

Your domain name is not listed in your account

Causes

A missing domain is usually caused by one of the following:

  • You are logged into a different account than the one used to register the domain.
  • The domain has expired and was not successfully renewed.
  • A temporary system or display issue is preventing the domain from appearing.

Solutions

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

1. Check if you are logged into the correct account

If you have multiple accounts, your domain may be under a different one.

  1. Log out of your current account.
  2. Try logging in using another user you may have used.
  3. Check for any previous emails related to domain registration to confirm the correct account.

2. Verify your domain renewal status

Your domain may have expired if it was not successfully renewed.

  • Check your billing history and invoices.
  • Confirm that the renewal was completed for the domain itself—not just:
    • Domain add-ons (e.g., privacy, certification, etc.)
    • Hosting plans or other attached services

If your domain has expired, you may still be able to renew it depending on its current status.

3. Check for possible system issues

In rare cases, the domain may not appear due to a temporary technical issue.

  • Log out, then log back into your account.
  • Clear your browser cache or try a different browser.
  • Check again after a few minutes.

If the domain is still registered under your name, it can typically be restored or made visible again.
