How to Transfer Web Hosting to Crazy Domains

This article describes how to transfer a web hosting service from another provider to Crazy Domains. It provides the steps from initiating the transfer on the Transfer Web Hosting page, selecting a hosting plan, completing the purchase, and finalizing the order through either an existing account or a new registration.

Before you begin

Review the following requirements and limitations before requesting a web hosting transfer.

  • What can be transferred
Web hosting accounts, including website files, databases, and email data, provided access to the source hosting account is available. This also includes websites built on standard platforms such as WordPress or other CMS applications that allow file and database access.

  • What cannot be transferred
Website builder platforms such as Wix or Weebly cannot be migrated because they are hosted within proprietary systems and do not provide full access to files or databases. Domain names are not included in the hosting transfer and must be processed separately if required.
