Add a Business Number to a Personal Crazy Domains Account
This guide explains how to add a business number to your Crazy Domains account. By the end, you’ll know where to enter your business details and how this helps manage business purchases and applicable tax exemptions.
Why add a business number?
Adding a business number to your account helps separate personal and business transactions and may allow eligible tax exemptions on future purchases.
- For Australian accounts, this refers to an Australian Business Number (ABN).
- For New Zealand accounts, this refers to an IRD Number.
IMPORTANT. Tax exemptions depend on your country’s tax regulations and the validity of the business number provided on your account.
How to add a business number to your account
Follow these steps to add your business number:
NOTE. This is only applicable for AU and NZ accounts with Personal account type.
- Go to your Account Profile Details.
- On the My Details page, find the User Type row and click EDIT.
- Enter the required business information:
- Australia: Australian Business Number (ABN)
- New Zealand: IRD Number and IRD Business Name
NOTE. For NZ account, if you are a GST registered, check the GST declaration to become exempted for GST on your future purchases.
- Click SAVE CHANGES.
Optional: Switch to a Business Account
If you want full business‑account features, you can convert your Personal account into a Business account. This option is available separately and may offer additional benefits.
