SiteLock: Crazy Domains Site Protection

This article provides an overview of Site Protection, a website security service powered by SiteLock. It explains what SiteLock is, how to access the SiteLock dashboard, and how to navigate its interface.

What is SiteLock

SiteLock is a website security service that helps protect websites from malware, vulnerabilities, and other online threats. It provides automated scanning to detect security issues and offers tools to identify and address risks that may affect website integrity and visitor safety.

Site Protection, powered by SiteLock, includes features such as malware detection, vulnerability scanning, and blacklist monitoring. These features help website owners monitor their site’s security status and take action when potential threats are identified.

How to access SiteLock Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Crazy Domains account.
  2. Look for your SiteLock (Site Protection) product in your domain name, then click MANAGE. This opens your Site Protection Product Manager.
  3. In the upper right of the Site Protection Product Manager, click MANAGE. This will redirect you to your SiteLock Dashboard.

The SiteLock interface

On your SiteLock Dashboard, the navigation menu appears on the left. Below is a brief overview of each tab in this menu:

  • Overview – This is the central location for checking the status of your domains and managing your SiteLock account. It is the first page you see after logging in and the one you will use most frequently.

  • Users – This section displays a list of users you have created, including their login email and role. If you have not created any additional users, you will see only one user (yourself) with the role of Owner. You can add or remove users, granting them limited access to view the dashboard and open support tickets with SiteLock.

  • Messages – Find messages and urgent alerts from SiteLock regarding your business's security and reputation.

  • Help – This option redirects you to the SiteLock knowledge base.

  • Submit Ticket – Use this to submit a ticket directly to SiteLock for any questions or to report an issue.
